Yesterday was beautiful day,sunny all day but cold a light breeze,i cut my grass yes i am nuts but it was dry,at least the birds can have a bug hunt and scratch out all the little beasties that are hiding in the grass.

Cold wind and we have had a few snowflakes blowing about, but not settling thank goodness

Fair amount of snow, no wind to speak of - just over freezing. Neither cats nor chooks pleased by this. Can't say we're happy about it either. The other cats have decided to sleep on the nice warm radiator shelves until it's over but not Lotty who seems to have forgotten how to use the cat flap!

It sowed hard overnight, turned to passing showers and has thawed bit. Of course when it freezes overnight we'll all need Alpine training.

Very cold, and several flurries of snow, though none are settling. All the raised beds ore frozen, except where the garlic and shallots are, the enviromesh cloche is keeping the ground a touch warmer.

Well alot of snow and more on the way, its gusting and my weather app says -18 wind chill feel but i dispute that .

A few snow showers today but later the wind got up and was blowing the snow around which made things very unpleasant. Current temperature near minus 7 - how low will it go??

Coldest weather since 2010. Still, it got me to fix up a little tube heater in the veg store to make sure things don't get too cold. It's thermostatically controlled and only draws 50 watts when on. One of those jobs I've been planning on doing since Christmas!
