I'm going to start my first lot off this weekend.  I use Golden Acre Primo 2 seeds - they seem to work well for me.  Can anybody recommend any other good varieties?  :)

I like Hispi for summer, Christmas Drumhead and Minicole for autumn and Tundra which stands through the worst of the winter weather  :)

I like Hispi (or Greyhound), Primo, Red Drumhead, Langedijk and Ormskirk.  Just harvested a January King (an impressive looking beast on the plot) but yet to try it.

Minicole is a lovely cabbage.  Elisa is versatile as it can be grown very close together for small heads.  Ruby Ball is a nice red.

Hmmm, thank you all, definitely some food for thought there  :D  That pun must have been used several times before by the way, so I'm sorry...

My minicole did really well last year, and the Filderkraut were huge!

I got for one called "4 seasons" this year, with the plan of successional sowings through the year.
