green house is getting far to hot and burning my plants, do you think some old bubble wrap over glass will protect it???
Mum to 2 girls and 1 boy, wife, a border collie blur murl, a rabbit, 10 chickens and 1 cockrel, and 3 fish.

lots of people leave the bubble wrap (put in for winter insulation) in place all year as it diffuses the light and stops scorch............. but I don't know if it will lower temps though  :unsure:

I have my ghouse bubble wrap lined, roof and walls. It diffuses the light well , no scorching and keep the temperature up at night.It needs securing well as the doors and window are open in hot weather.
Well worth doing. :)

If you have grooves in the centre of your aluminium glazing bars you can buy clips with washers to fit the bubblewrap . In the wall corners a bamboo cane will hold it to the glass. In some places self tapping screws and washers are needed.
