Broody forever!!
« on: May 25, 2015, 13:18 »
It's over now I'm glad to say so no real proplem but curious what others think...
Lavvy girl was broody for a couple of months.  I got her straight into a little cage with a perch and she happily perched between brief excursions for dust baths and food.  This went on and on until eventully I blocked any kind of warm nesting zones and she could rest on top of a hamster cage and not get her tummy warm.  Even that didn't shift it but last night - hooray - she stayed perched with the others and is now sqawking and annoying the neighbours again (my little darling)!

No sign of broodiness from the others and I wonder if she took the job on for all of them?
One grandma and 4 baby Pekins.
