Freesia from seed.
« on: September 04, 2012, 12:51 »
I grew some fressia from bulbs in the greenhouse in  single pots this year, and after a slow start they have done quite well. They seem to have some nice seed pods, so is it possible to do some from seed, and what is the procedure?

Failing this, do I leave the old bulbs in the old pots and just leave them to it? I've emptied one pot just to see what is going on, and serveral new smaller bulbs have developed which are attached to the old bulb which is quite soft now. Do I split the corms or leave them intact and plant them as a cluster?

Thanks in anticipation of your answers.
