I also had a look :) found it under a different name: cycloid vibration therapy and a few articles state it is not more effective than ordinary flexibility exercise (just stretching) over the same duration as the vibration is applied.

Maybe good when flexibility exercise is not an option (anymore/for the time being)?

My friend is trying it out as she suffers from fibromyalgia, but they do not advertise price and I am concerned about her being charged a lot. It does help, but there are other things she should be doing.

Cycloid Vibration Therapy sounds similar to being put into a barrel then sent down a series of waterfalls! Personally I'd steer clear of it and get a good monthly massage.
