Title: Small black flies in hen house
Post by: chasechicken on May 29, 2009, 09:14
Hi all

I noticed when cleaning out the hen house yesterday that there were several little black flies in there.  Most were on the wall and a few on the floor.

They were very small and didn't seem to be a danger but just wanted to check if it's a problem and whether I should somehow treat it, or just let them live in there.

The important thing is I couldn't see any mites although am going to give the house a good powdering over the weekend!

Thanks

D

Small black flys are nothing to worry about.
