marinade recipes anyone

Anyone got any nice marinade recipes for chicken please. Its barbie time tomorrow and id like to dod something different with the old chicken thighs that just barbie them so would like a nice marinade or any other ideas to pep things up a bit

hi plottered,ive a tasty and cheap one for ya if you have some garden herbs.take 1 heaped tsp each of rosemary,thyme,sage,oregano.,1/2 tsp black pepper&salt couple of cloves of fresh chopped garlic,juice&zest of a lemon,3or4 slugs of olive oil.mix together.chuck in your slashed thighs rub the marinade into the slits & leave for a couple of hours or even over night.scrummy!!.hope that helps.

Runny honey and grain mustard mixed together and  brushed on is nice... :D

Or a zesty alternative

For 6oz of chicken

juice and rind of  1/2 a lemon and orange.

2tbsp honey
2tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp ground coriander
2tbsp chopped mint
salt and pepper

Slit the chicken pour over the marinade leave for up to eight hours..cook and eat...yum :D

Bit late now I know but thougth I'd add this for another time (let's hope we have plenty this summer  ;))

Two tablespoons of spice past from a jar mixed with equal quantities of plain yoghourt

Grind in pestle & mortar (or end of rolling pin in cup :lol:) some fennel seeds with some dried oregano, pinch salt and pepper, pinch cayenne/chilli pepper and rub into your chops/chicken before cooking  :)
