Pear tree leaves distorted

Can anybody suggest what might be wrong with our (new) young pear tree? Some of the leaves have a crop of pale patches on them almost like big freckles. Not raised like blisters but flat, and some of the new leaves are curled up. Have searched for bugs but there don't seem to be any. Would be grateful for any advice

Sounds like leaf curl too

Not sure what that is though.

No the patches are paler than the leaves and not raised. I have looked on Google for all the 'obvious' problems but can't seem to find mine!

It's been very dry in some areas - have you watered it well as it's so new?
