The Memsahib keeps threatening to get some baking parchment but I prefer to use greasproof (tight HamsterSaurus that I am) and generally get away with it by lightly greasing the paper with trex (when we have some in) which seems to help considerably, particularly on the higher temperature bakes.

I'm partial to the parchment since it requires no extra fats. I usually use the same piece three times before it gets rather tatty looking. I always look for sales on the stuff and stock up. My sister prefers parchment in pre-cut sheets, but it only works if you have the right sized baking sheets.

I buy those reusable sheets, usually black and shiny. I cut one to fit each size tin or baking sheet and they last for years.
