so sorry for your loss, we have planted dog roses and dogwoods whenever we have lost one of our much loved dogs.

Thanks everyone.

Still missing Doogie but thankfully my son seems a little better today.  He donated all the food and beds etc. to a local dog shelter.  We kept his lead and collar and my son has them in his bedside locker.  My daughters boyfriend got as many pictures as he could together and did a collage for us and got it framed.  I also have a 'faithful friend' rose on order and will plant that in the garden.

We have decided that we will get another dog (from the shelter) but will leave it for a year or so, none of us could bear to replace Doogie just yet.
