I wanted to wish every one on the forum a very happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. 

I have just celebrated my first year of owning hens and have found the Chicken chat forum and the Hen house Forum my saving grace.  There is so much helpful information and chat about hens and their well being and I have spent hours on the two sites browsing and reading all the different topics.  I've sat with tears streaming down my face when reading some of them both from joy and sadness, feelings of relief that my problem is not unusual or that my hens are normal  

Thank you all - here's to another good year on the forum and lots of happy hens.  Happy Christmas to everyone.

ps. We have 8" of snow and my girls can't wait until winter is over - hope your snow goes soon.

Joyeux Noel from me too. Its been a mixed year, joy and extreme sadness, but we've got through it!
Now, unfortunately, Im struck down with flu and OH is very poorly too with a chest infection that wont clear up. He went over to the UK last week to shop, got carted off to hospital in an ambulance, got a bit better, then went down hill again. Im convinced he brought back some bug or other with him, just for me. Better than perfume or bubblebath....NOT. I may not do Christmas dinner tomorrow, we shall just have to see how I feel. Anyway, have a great time everyone.
