i picked up a complete bargin. i wanted some plants what you could stick in the ground but flower every year.i picked up 20 plants for 3 quid.
they incuded ivy,perry winkle,some spikey plants but i forgot there names .and loads more.if i brought that in a garden center you would be looking at 80 quid.bargin of the day i would say. :D

yes i was told that.the sad thing is where i was going to plant it its not sutible i know that they do ground cover but do they grow up wards as well or just across.?

My in-laws had a dog called Periwinkle who was unruly, couldn't be trained, spread across the beds (and sofa) and got out of hand in the flower beds, just like the plant she was named after.

Periwinkle has gone, but the plant escaped to the allotment and lives on at the base of the rabbit fencing.
