Hi all,

The foliage of these potatoes died back about 2 weeks ago. We are pulling up the potatoes now and they are great!!!

We plan on pulling them up as we get through them (over the next 4-6weeks). Will they be ok in the ground this long? or is it best to pull them all up now and store?

As long as your area doesn't get ground/soil freeze, you can dig as needed. Same with no snow cover (you need to find them).
If you expect very cold weather, then best to dig and store them asap.

If you leave them slugs will start to eat them and if we have a sharp frost those near the surface will be caught.

I would dig them up and store in a thick canvas sack or paper sack, keep them dark and out of frost, you will soon eat that amount (well I would anyway!) or make some into leek and potato soup and freeze
