I've still got loads of fruit on my toms, both ripe and still green. The plants don't seem to be using any water much at all. If I just give them a little in the morning, by mid afternoon the pots are still well moist. Should I stop watering until the pots seem to be drying out a bit, just keep giving them a little tickle, or water as normal?

Only water daily if they're drying out daily, they may only need watering every other day - unless we get a warm spell

It really depends on what type of soil you have and if they are mulched. I have clay soil and even in the summer I got away with only watering twice a week. I haven't really watered them for a couple of weeks and they are mostly all red now they were a variety from eastern europe caleld stupice and have done really really well. I've gotten about 10-15kg from 7 plants and still a few more to pick.

edit: oops just realised you said in pots, then ye I would just water when they start to dry out a bit. I guess you will have to guage how often that is. Do they get any rain water?

Water and feed the same as you do in the height of growing season, if and when the pots show signs of drying slightly.
