Went over to the 'lottie last week and noticed my 10 cauliflower plants all have big splodges of white, poorly looking leaf. The white bits take up as much as 50% of some fronds. What is this due to? Is it a nutrient deficiency? If so, what do I need to give them to correct it? Thanks for any advice.

Sorry Yorkie, I'm not very good with new technology and don't have a smartphone. The whiteness tends to be on the outer half of the leaves.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Is it splodges with well defined edges, or is it more along or between leaf veins?

I've never grown caulis but would think the former could be disease and the latter nutritional.

Might be worth having a look at white blister, which is a fungal condition that can affect cauliflowers, particularly in wet weather.
