Title: Books....
Post by: sunnywillow on October 08, 2020, 12:53
My copies of the Dig for Victory book arrived this morning - have treated young son to a copy also :D It looks to be a very interesting read and well laid out; much better than watching TV these days ::) and I am looking forward to a few hours reading and absorbing.
Congratulations John & Val - it must have taken many hours to put together.

Just ordered.  One for me one for my eldest son.  Gifts from a very generous dog for the event in December.

Forgot to say that young son (30+) dug up his lawn and started an allotment at the beginning of lockdown - in true 'Wartime' spirit! :nowink:  We have all benefited from cabbages, carrots and he had 100+ onions as well as a few potatoes, brussels to come later.  All this and my allotment too. I'm sure  grandad would have been proud of us.
