Carrots... sparce.... neighbour took the rest of the seeds he has loads!
Lettuce... 2 plant.... not good!
Garlic..... plenty of leaves so hopefully a good crop
Cabbage.... At least my favourite veg is doing well so far
Turnip (or Nabo here) the word nabo makes the neighbour fall about laughing... not sure why!  They are doing well too
Potatoes.  Had a quick dig about and they seem to be doing well
Onions. .. doing well, got onion plants ysterday too, so should have plenty of onions soon

FRUIT:  mandarine trees have more fruit on the floor than on the tree.  SO made marmalade- the orange trees seem to be ok, holding their fruit.  The lemon tree (will have to come out sadly) is looking great really laden with fruit.  

OLIVES:  I have tubs and tubs of the fruit......  shame hubby does not like them!


Went and picked wild asparagus last night, had it with my scrambled eggs.
Had friends to stay for 2weeks it rained most days, even floods, had to drive through very deep water!!  Good news is the well is over half full now and it is raining again today!
Bad news.   Hubby in UK his MUm has a broken kneecap and is in a full leg plaster.... he´s been there for 3 weeks almost and is well and truly fed up! (no siblings)
Still no land line so I´m in the library using the internet.  Oh for a civilised phone and not having to use an expensive mobile all the time!

Sounds blooming marvellous.

It's going to take a bit to get your soil up to scratch and get used to growing in a different climate, but you'll get there. Even the best growers have failures.

Surprised by the amount of rain you're getting - still if it restocks the well.

Hope your mum-in-law gets better soon and you get your hubby back.
