Hi all,

I got a new plot back in January, it had a rundown shed and that was it.
Fortunately for me 2 women were giving up their old plot and they approached me and asked if i wanted to take over their old plot (in very good condition) as it was ready to go, it also had 2 greenhouses and a fab big shed.

Anyhow, on to how to get a free greenhouse,
Up to my good fortune i had already put plans into getting a greenhouse, not buying one but getting one for "free".
All i did was make some leaflets saying,

HI MY NAME IS ***** AND HAVE JUST GOT A NEW ALLOTMENT,
I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE AN OLD GREENHOUSE THAT YOU NO LONGER WISH TO USE AND IS POSSIBLY GETTING IN THE WAY,
IF SO I WOULD HAPPILY COME AND TAKE IT OFF YOUR HANDS AND OUT OF YOUR WAY AND PUT IT TO GOOD USE AND CONTINUE TO GROW LOVELY THINGS INSIDE IT AS YOU WILL HAVE DONE,
IF YOU DO HAVE ONE THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME ON 07*********
IF NOT THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE TO THROW THIS LEAFLET IN THE BIN.

I then used my 3 children (under my supervision) to post hem around the area that we live paying particular attention to those houses that we could see had a greenhouse.

Anyway, im rambling but up to this day i have been offered a staggering 12 greenhouses but due to my good fortune have taken none.

Just an idea for you guys that want a greenhouse, worth a try.

Such a good idea. Both our greenhouses were give always. One came from someone who had just moved to the house with no need for a greenhouse and 2 toddlers he was worried about running  around it.

12 is a lot of freebies.
