Rhubarb and custard ice cream recipe

as requested


1lb rhubarb
2 tble water
6oz sugar
1/2 pt double cream
1 can or carton of custard (not the one from the chiller cabinet )

1/  simmer fruit with the water and sugar to a pulp , leave it to cool .
2/ whip the cream to a soft peak and fold in the custard then stir in the rhubarb .
place in a container and allow to freeze for an hour , take out and mix it up to the break down the crystals , place back in the freezer for another hour and repeat the process till your happy with the consistency .
