Yea. I have  to say most of them looked pretty sickly and at best, suitable only for a kids party. And I have  my doubts about that !

Some of those should NOT ever be in the same room as children who do not wish to turn into Disney's version of tigger

I'm trying to eat healthily at the moment, so I could quite happily eat any/all of those cakes!

Me too. I told my mother I had done a week without chocolate ( major thing for me) she said yes you could do with cutting out rubbish, an hour later she turned up with a chocolate brownie for me.  ::) lol

Yep, that's my mother to a T as well. Pop over to parents for a cup of tea whilst she's on a diet and then suddenly cream cakes appear of the kitchen table and I'm being force fed one with the comment 'you're too skinny' lol

Ick! Just looking at them made my teeth ache.

I remember my step-gran used to make real European tortes - 1 egg per 1 tbsp flour. They were things of wonderful taste. Sadly, she wouldn't share her recipes.
