McDonald's chicken meals

Interesting read.  The thought of all those poor birds living under such conditions breaks your heart.  I wonder what Jamie Oliver will make of it.

 I can't even bring myself to read it!! I hate to see the way they transport the poor guys in what looks like bread baskets let alone the way they rear them. arrrgh it makes me so mad. Organic and natural is still the best way  :)

I wouldn't wee on ANYTHING McDonalds-related if it was on fire.  I KNOW they provide jobs, but I just can't stomach them - past personal experience of the worst sort of unethical behaviour leaves me wishing them gone forever, job losses notwithstanding.

Well they might provide jobs but most of them treat their staff like S*** and pay the minimum they can.

I haven't been in a Macdonald's since they went to Argentina for their beef during the Foot and Mouth crisis, bearing in mind Argentina probably don't look after their cattle as well as we do!

Chicken and turkey wise, if we don't rear them ourselves, we don't eat chicken or turkey!

I only eat Grannie Annie chicken and turkey too - infact last night we had chicken breast stuffed with mozzerella and then wrapped in bacon (should really use parma ham but didn't have any ). The chicken couldn't get much fresher - it had been walking round in the morning
Staffies are softer than you think.
