Title: Fitbit nuisance posts...
Post by: Growster... on October 30, 2017, 18:23
Daught and SIL bought me on for my seventieth, which was a pleasant surprise!

While I occasionally get to 10,000 steps a day, the rest of it goes whoosh over my head and I'm damned if I'm going to bother inputting tinctures, water and all that gubbins!

But can someone please please tell me how to stop getting endless emails from unknowns wanting to be 'friends'?

I've no interest in them, they post stupid thick, childish comments, and if it doesn't stop soon, the whole kit will just be dumped, despite the huge price my dear family put aside for me!

Any clues from real chums here please?

Have you set up your account with Fitbit? If so go to your account & look for the profile change the setting to private. I don’t get any request for friends or emails etc only my weekly Fitbit report. If that doesn’t work look for the help file & see if you can find it on there

Done that Snows - but thank you for the advice! SIL is pretty good at setting these bits of kit up, and actually did it all for me (thank goodness)!

Still getting rubbishy little messages though, and my email inbox seems to think that I'm all that interested in 'friends' too...

Beginning to think about knocking it out on Ebay, and getting a couple of quid for a bottle of something, or next year's carrot seeds!
