This chicken keeping is a very steep learning curve! I want to use Flubenvet but my girlsaren't too keen on their pellets. They eat some fresh but prefer to scatter them about then eat them the next day when they're all soggy! However they love them if they're mixed 50/50 with runny porridge so is it ok to put the flubenvet in that so I can be sure they get a dose? Or I've seen on here that you can put a dose in a grape for them. Would that be better and if so how much do I put in either the porridge mix or the grape? Thanks for any advice

How ever you can manage to get a dose into each hen for seven consecutive days is fine

You may find that they are wasters of their pellets because it's not their exclusive food. Make sure that pellets (dosed with Flubenvet) and only pellets are on offer. How about putting their feeder in a cat litter tray or potting tray so that any distributed pellets can be gathered up and re used.

Good idea - they had decided to be more freerange than I intended and the novelty of finding them in her garden has worn off for my neighbour! So yesterday they had their wings clipped and if that doesn't work plans are afoot for a colditz style fence!
