After running a load of Pears and Apples through the juicer I have a load of pulp left, is there any use for this? :?

Wine making? Or compost.
Have you just lost a wee son, Sparky??
-
I'g guess it would make a great fast compost! I reckon it'd break down in days. Add some less easily digestible stuff with it for balance.
I put a load of spent grain and hops into my composter last week and it's rotting really fast. loads of tiny little flies though, I beleive they feed on the fungus that is growing on the goods.

Thank you all for your sentiments. He was my only son and was born with congenital heart and lung problems, we had him for more years than the doctors predicted but it's still hard to accept.
Once again Thank you.

I thought it best to close down this thread now so that Sparky is left to mourn his son Steven in privacy.
Sparky, I'm sure you have the profound sympathies of many many readers and I'd be very happy to unlock the thread if you'd prefer that they can express them publically. Please PM me if you wish it unlocked.
Respectfully, David
