a frugal vase
« on: July 01, 2007, 07:55 »
had a party last night (a very unfrugal affair   ) and for some obscure reason I was presented with four lots of cut flowers.  I may be alone in this but to me cut flowers are pointless, I'd far rather see them growing in the ground but there you go!  I have no interest or ability in arrnaging them either.  I also only own one vase, given to me by someone else.  So as I couldn't stuff them all into the one vase I made another one, cut the top off a plastic squash bottle, removed the label, and voila, a new vase!  Lots of recylcing to do this morning now from the night before!!  hope the bins are empty when I go down!
