or have done something really stupid

Dropping off a reletive at home tonight in the quiet village i notice that some one had put a flymo mower and a black and decker strimmer out for the rubbish. It was a bit dark to check them over fully so just bundled them in the car and will find out if they work tomorrow.(its the type of village what people get rid of things because they are bored by them rather than because they dont work)
so driving home  feeling pretty pleased with my self i suddenly realised that there rubbish day isnt untill friday   its seems a bit early to put rubbish out and thinking about it proper i doubt the bin men would take them anyway :?

(Coughs). Last thing I'd do in your place is tell the world on a public forum!!!

As qwiz says Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

You could always creep under cover of darkness & put them back!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

We found an upright Dyson put out with the rubbish a few weeks ago - chucked it in the back of the Landy, thinking we'd break it for spares to sell on eBay - got it home, fired it up, and it works better than our one does!  All it needed was the filters cleaning  8)

Engage smug mode!

I thought Dyson was sold on the basis that it had no filters  :?:
