My greenhouse arrives on Friday morning. Can't wait!!! Is it possible for just one person to erect a glass greenhouse? or would I need to wait until the weekend when other plot holders are around to lend a hand.

It took me and OH ages to put ours up & two sets of hands were essential.

Good luck, SS. It's lovely having a greenhouse, it opens up such a world of new possibilities. It's a great place to hide from a shower, full of the wondrous smell of tomato plants, mmmm....

My greenhouse arrives on Friday morning. Can't wait!!! Is it possible for just one person to erect a glass greenhouse? or would I need to wait until the weekend when other plot holders are around to lend a hand.

I was able to construct my 6x4 foot greenhouse at home on my own, and luckily I had the side of a shed and 8 foot privet hedge to support the frames upright when trying to put the first 2 sides together to fit!

The hardest part if it comes "flat packed" is getting all the pieces in the right order to bolt the side frames up.  Luckily I was able to spread it all out on the lawn into its rough shape first.  The best part is stepping back when its all done and thinking - I just built a greenhouse!
