Can hydrangas be grown in pots (albeit large ones)? :D

yes, they do well in pots as long as they are kept well watered during the growing
season  :)

If you plant them in ericaceous compost you can even keep the blue ones blue  :lol:

Hi,

Ive had a lot of sucess with one in a pot for years on my patio, its a large white lacey one the kids bought me one year for my birthday.  I just water it and feed it occasionally.

Many thanks guys.  I've got an allotment plot, which I absolutely adore.  But I want to create a Mediterraean patio garden for my back garden, which isn't very big - basically completely flagged, but with terracota pots and other ceramic pots about the place, so I want lots of colour :D
