Very good, just shows what you can do if you put your mind too it.

They are good, OH was watching a TV programme once, and this bloke had made a welsh dresser from pallet wood. OH promised to make me one, he said it looked really nice once it was all smooth and vrnished, but that was about 10 years ago, and I'm still waiting!!!!

nice one fluffy. i saw that when i was doing my shed, im trying hard not to post pics of it again. HA!
i need to fence off the back wall of the garden up to 6 foot so im on the scrounge for decent pallets again. i will curve the top edges and lap them so folk wont think im a scrubber, and stain them green.

I've just finished a 12' X 12' greenhouse with a 6' X 12' potting shed attached. The bottom two and half foot of the greenhouse was boarded, shiplap style, with boards from broken up pallets, and the potting shed was completely covered, except windows and roof, the same way, with my own fair hands.
As they say in the allotment world "ought for nought as long as it does the job". All other materials supplied from our sons for nought. It's 8 foot tall and cost about £120 all done and dusted. 8)

Pallet wood is often very rough and you need a decent sander to get it smooth enough for some projects. If you do not have one or want a short cut then use a blow torch.Just burn off the splintery bits, its very quick and makes a great smooth finish. Just sand off the blackened areas if you wish for a better finish. Its still quicker. 8)

I made a fence out of pallets, took a bit of time getting the slats off the base but it looks great!

I now have one pallet (have got some on freecycle and given them to friends). I am hoping to build the supply as I'll need to fence off my alltoment (when I get it!). I believe I may have jumped a place this week to number 4, must go and check later in the week, and get back onto freecycle for those extra pallets!!

t last someone who is into pallets! I can get pallets, I already have recycled (!) some window frames and glass so please let me know every boring detail from the bottom to the very roof on how to accomplish (for me) the impossible. My friend and I have managed to make a compost bin, which must be recognisable as the "old hands" asked who had done it for me! Thankyou.
