Someone mentioned one of these just a few days ago Imp!

I had to Gurgle it, to see what it was, and am impressed!

It's really a lighter version of a cross mattock I use, but I also have made an even lighter version (old cut-down WW2 cultivator!) which I use as a hand tool, for breaking up clods at close quarters!

I very much like the look of your Adze, and am thinking of cutting down a spare Chillington hoe blade for something similar.

The trouble is, I finish up with so many variations of clouting tools, I can't decide which one to use on the day...
