I sowed stocks on 08-Mar; got up maybe half of what I sowed. Pricked them out on 15-Mar and they're surviving (just - at this stage), but they're very small and I may still lose them. It's really put me off flowers, to be honest; my heliotrope failed twice, got a few snapdragons on second sowing. The only ones to really do well are pansies, calendula and nicotiana. The stocks are the biggest disappointment. Just about to give up on Livingstone daisies as well. All that effort for something I can't eat!

I purchased mine from Thompson & Morgan scheduled to arrive 18th April will these plugs be prone to dropping off disease?

I will be using Rootblast.com pricey there is Scotts Miracle Gro Root Booster this has been on the market since 2008 anybody used it?

With Stock you have to grow them in special akali moss peat.
To be honest growing is the best way if you have the and facilties.

This Stock will not be Frost hardy ? so they need a greenhouse till end of May?

Regards,

Samantha
