Yep, we were going to get 2 then decided on 3, the younger two are as thick as thieves, always close together, Madame Poulet is usually ordering them around

EDIT: My missus just told me that a trio is 2 hens and a cockerel, not  3 hens, and although we haven't actually seen Madame Poulet lay an egg, she was in her little spot yesterday re-arranging things then later on we checked and found an egg.

Wish I could train mine to do that!!  No point in having nice cut edges to flower beds with my girls around
here is one of my girls earlier this year,  Took the rest of them 2hrs before they plucked up the courage to walk on the snow!

Rarely get any decent snow in cornwall but we had enough this year to build snow man and chicken and no way to get to work!! Shame.

This girl is the most talkative and independant!  She call Amber, (ment to have brown/amber flecks in her!)  She was the only one to get up and out business as usual in the snow, and I am sure she trys to have a conversation with us, because we can be talking in the garden and she comes over carrying on almost as bad as kids!
She is also the one who worries me the most as she has a tendency to stay out somewhere once every couple of months!

All that lovely greenery and the flowers wouldn't last 5 minutes with my lot! You are very lucky there. My garden has been stripped bare, it's deserted of anything green or colourful!
