drying french beans - am i doing it right?
« on: September 25, 2010, 20:36 »
Had a great crop early, in my greenhouse.

Decided to let the last lot stay on the plant to dry them and see if i like them.

Plants are still producing flowers, there are some huge beans aswell, but i am supposed to be leaving them to dry on the plant, right?

Some of them are going a bit mouldy, don;t see how they are going to dry crispy now its turning colder.

Should i pull them up and hang them to dry?

Any advice?
Liv.

Given the amount of rain we are having i would be tempted to bring them inside and dry them on some newspaper ;)
