Cold and raining. Even the heating has kicked back on, which offends my inner miser

Cold and wet here as well and for us here in the SE,  it is due to get worse over the weekend and into Monday. MetO have issued warnings

Sunshine, cloudy, sunny and repeat here Plus the weather for the next 5 days is set fair with the only rain at night. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny all day. It will be great if just once the forecast is right.

Raining again. It's times like this I'm grateful for deciding to use raised beds as the ground is waterlogged again.

Just starting to brighten up after an extremely wet morning (11mm.)

Only 8C though, so I'm very much looking forward towards the weekend when it's supposed to be getting warmer.

Only 10C again atm, and very windy -will have to bring all the tender stuff back in again at teatime as minimum of 1C is forecast for tonight
C/heating's back on again *sigh* God only knows what the energy direct debit will be when it is balanced up in July  Ho hum!

Official shade temperature here (probably) peaked at 26C (79F) about 20 minutes ago, Phew!

Unlikely that's the highest in the country, but it's more than enough to send me back indoors (takes me some time to acclimatise to high temperatures, although it rarely lasts long enough to actually achieve that!)

Same as others, hot, hot, hot here. Went to a school fete today but ended up leaving early as the sprog was getting too grumpy in the sun.

I got sunburnt yesterday and today was hot but the sun not as strong (now I've found the factor 20) - didn't get much done though been playing at being a zombie all day.

In a word, idyllic. Just right at about 20C, no wind and clear blue sky since dawn. All change back to Atlantic weather from tomorrow
