covering winter spuds
« on: September 27, 2009, 16:16 »
As it is getting colder (not quite frost last night and this morning but not tropical either!), should I be covering my winter spuds. I have some emerald vales and some vivaldis that I want to harvest from later in the year.

If so, is fleece ok to use (I have loads of the stuff in the shed) and does it need removing in the daytime (apart from when it gets really cold)

thanks
