Title: gingerbread wonderland

Just spied this book in my mag and it looks great , i did the lebkuchen featered in the mag i usually buy mine from lidl but this year made them they were very easy and i love them not a biscuit or a cake bit wierd realy im going to treat myself to the book as you may have guessed its all about the gingerbread .

I love lebkuchen,  I usually buy some for Christmas but will have a look at a recipe to make some.

Aunty these were very nice i did round ones and heart shapes the tops had thin icing more of a dull glaze , the bottoms dipped in chocolat and a bit drizzeled over even fussy daughter liked them ha ha .

DD & I made these for Christmas,but they were just my ordinary gingerbread recipe I've used for years

They're lovely Mum, I bet that was fun & messy, only another couple of years & hopefully I'll be having that sort of fun too.

Wonderful work it seems a shame to eat them did they keep long .

They started breaking bits off the roofs on Christmas eve  :lol: - all gone now.

Im down to my last little chunk of Christmas cake hate to see it go but it must , have to say though delia did me proud i will be doing it many times more .

That's why my daughter wanted to make them smaller so there was still some left looking cute. But I bet mum's grandchildren weren't bothered with that I know DD wouldn't have when she was younger,she's 26 now 😄😄

Happy days my gingerbread books here 2 days early have been itching to read it but have been busy , ive now had a read and its lovley i love the houses you can make to put on the side of a cup , theres cake and a tart re ipe and otheres need to get some more cookie cutters .

I took these pictures last month while on a cruise. It was made over a fre weeks and assembled over one night by the ship's chefs.

Looks realy good , we did  cruise last september there was demonstrations of the kitchen skills amazing .looking forward to the next one in june im just hoping the singers will be different one of them talked more than she sang .
