Would anyone like to share their recipe for raspberry vodka?   Have tried to find one that actually gives a step by step guide or doesn't involve vast quantities, without sucess!.   All recipes  gratefully received!   :D

Easy peasy  :D

1 bottle of vodka, plus one empty bottle of the same size
enough white granulated sugar to give an inch in the bottom of each bottle
fresh or frozen raspberries - 2 decent handsful per bottle

1. Share the vodka equally between the two bottles
2. Add half the sugar and half the raspberries to each bottle and screw on tops
3. Keep somewhere out of bright light for 6-8 weeks, turning gently every day. The sugar will dissolve and the raspberries go mushy.
4. Strain each bottleful into a clean glass container (basin is fine) through a very fine sieve and save raspberries for an icecream topping. D. Do not squeeze raspberries through as the vodka will be cloudy if you do.
5. Bottle the red coloured vodka into attractive bottles and label --- or put it all back in the one bottle if you are keeping it all yourself of course  ;)

And blackberries, just substitute cheap brandy.

CHerry stones in vodka make an acceptable kirsch too. :D
And blackcurrants for cassis.

Just a note about blackberry brandy (mentioned above by Mrs Bee)

It tends to be more blackberry-ish if you use half brandy and half vodka in my experience  :D  The flavour of the brandy can swamp some of the more delicate brambly taste otherwise.
