making a cold frame
« on: July 29, 2020, 09:10 »
this year has been the year of building for us as well as spending more time down the allotments mainly because of us being in lockdown and one of the last jobs to be done will be making a cold frame

so what's the best cold frame? should it be wood or bricks or concrete blocks? i was watching gardeners world the other week i thought Monty's cold frames looked very good and if i remember they where brick built

so if i decide to build a brick frame and that looks very possible should i concrete the inside floor of the frame rather than leave it a soil floor? so thought i would ask those of you that use cold frames what you would suggest and if you think a brick built frame is the rite choice replies much appreciated
