Second wormery
« on: April 17, 2022, 14:49 »
Having recently bought and set up a wormcity wormery which seems to be doing well I’m having a go at making another by using the green food waste bins supplied by the council and worms collected from my horse muck pile, it’s worth a try and costs nothing.
So later I will drill the base of the one that I’m putting the worms in to allow excess fluid into the lower bin .

For the initial mix will be some soil, shredded paper, horse muck with the worms in (about 2 dozen) and veg  peelings, it will be very interesting to see how it gets on, if it works it may be the first of many.
