Ark Wildlife are good too - they do some specialist mixes. https://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/ We like the ones without wheat in them, as only the pigeons seem to eat it.
Mine would be to meet David Suchet (see other post), to have a book published, as in either my updated research into Cockersand Abbey or my poems wot I rote, to go to the Lake District and dip my toes in one of the lakes with a glass of Champagne and a smoked salmon sandwich by my side, and to be able to afford another Hebridean cruise where I could pay for my dearest people (with me of course) to cruise the Scottish islands one more time. What's yours?
Mine has to be David Suchet because his acting is superb! Currently, I'm going through his Poirot DVDs and am blown away by the so subtle facial changes he makes which you'd never be able to see on stage. I also have his book on how he "became" Poirot which displays the attention to detail he had and how true his portrayal is. I've only got one more DVD to watch and that's the one when Poirot dies. Added to that, he is a real gentleman who is both modest and proud of what he 's done.
Oh, I so agree AS! I will be 76 in June and someone yesterday told me I don't act like it. My reply was I jolly well hope not! I presume they meant I behave like a forty-year old rather than a centerian!!
A slightly hazy sun and a tiny breeze here. Just watered some potting-on plants and others already in the garden so they shouldn't get their leaves sunburnt.
Ah, I have a few whisky barrels that I got at a very good price all the way from Scotland and yes, they are heavy even when empty. If you can attach some sturdy wheels to the bottom then you will not only be able to move it, it will also help with any drainage issues.
