Hello and welcome to the site John.

Sorry to hear about your young hen, the symptoms could indicate an infection that is affecting her balance.  The only time I have had similar was a broody with new chicks and she had a cold.  When she went to sneeze she would lose balance for a second.  I took her to the vets straight away (with chicks in tow!  ::)) as she was obviously weak from brooding for 3 weeks.  The vet gave her an antibiotic injection and some baytril for me to give her in a dropper each day.  She recovered really quickly so it was really worth the trip to the vets.

The symptoms could be attributed to lots of things though so it is best to seek professional advice as they can go down hill really quickly.  If you catch it early and it is contagious you are more likely to be able to treat the rest of your birds successfully.

Let us know how you get on.
