[Salmo]

I have a pot packed with nerines, the biggest about egg size. They produce only a small amount of leaf and 3/4 stems of flowers. My soil is heavy and either wet or dry so putting them in a bed is probably not the best thing to do.

What should I do to improve them

I can't help you, I'm sorry - but perhaps you can help me 

I have one in a pot that has leaves every year, but has never flowered

That is why mine are packed in a pot. They like poor conditions to flower, apparently.
