I have found out today that you can tour Bombay Sapphire Distillery which is near Basingstoke, Hants.
There is also a Distillery at the Silent Pool, Nr. Guildford.
But my best idea, is that I have also bought a tour for my Son and Daughter in Law. They live near York, he does whisky and she, gin. I contacted a small Distillery called Cooper King, at a place called Sutton in the Forest. Its 8 miles north of York, and left a message. I was 'phoned back tonight at about 8pm. so I have bought them both a tour near York. (the only problem I can see, is that I have got print the ticket off
) It is an open ticket for one year. So that's that.
Shall buy one of the former for daughter and S in L tomorrow. Problems solved.
What brilliant service. I am very pleased and I know they will all be, as each offer free tasters, and for the driver, they get to take it home !! Thats my pressies sorted.
