I was musing to myself today while drinking a cuppa and watching the girls potter about in the garden, (seem to be spending far too much time doing that lately), about the way they form friendships. My tiny bantam RIR, who's about the size of a wood pidgeon, and is also the most mischievous and friendly, has become best buddies with one of the biggest and most timid of all the other hens. They look such an odd pair wandering around together, but they obviously have a special relationship. Has anyone else noticed this with their hens?
