Ok matey, you say you like cement and cement subjects, I need to re-render part of me house, this is because I replaced the lintil over the door, I have put a 10mm scratch on and now need to hire the tyrolean gun type thingy to splatter it and get the rough render finish, the question mate is what is the mix?? I read cement and plaster sand. HSS chap has no idea.

Shaun, hope you had a good hol, by the time you have read this I should of done it, been told to use cullamix (damn expensive) and spoke to builders yard who stock it so sorted.

how did it go, its a right pain to match the rest of the house init  
WBS do the same stuff but you have done it anyhow ,it is expensive but its the right stuff and goes a long way.1 bag would do a tower block

Shaun, eerrrr no not done it yet, was planned but decided to spend the weekend drinking and fallin over   . We had a music fest which I help out every year in Blackpool, its free and we get loads of bands to play, great day, just spoilt  a little by a plod who abused his uniform and insisted on booking anybody who moved. So I believe cullamix is the stuff to use.

yes cullamix is the stuff mate like most things theres more than one type,have a little go on some plywood/plaster board 1st to get the hang of it and get the mix right,try to do it when theres no wind about (I know thats hard in blackpool) or you will get a bit of over spray we wouldnt want any in your hair would we,and if your flicking it onto the wall next to doors or windows get some masking tape and news paper and cover them,when you remove the tape you will have perfect straight lines.
as for the plod booking everyone are you sure you were not playing musical statues
