[Mark's Sussex Allotment]

I bought 16 elsanta strawberry plants Aldi back in late march and planted them in April.

They are going great guns and have a few smallish berries on them.what sort of harvest can I expect outside per plant?

Any good tips, that I should be doing?

Guard for birds and slugs during the ripening process.

Try and keep them off the ground, you can mulch with straw, however I place a jam jar over the ripening fruit as this keeps them away from the slugs and the glass acts as a mini greenhouse.
