A gang of us at the stables hired a hole borer to help us put up some fence posts - none of us are fainting blossoms but not one of us could get the damned thing started! Fine to use it once it was going but there must be a knack to pulling that cord wotsit that you men must be born with.

I'm embarrassed to say we tried for 90 mins then had to ask a bloke to do it for us.

We did allright actually using it - you'd be surprised how much muscle it takes to put the brakes on half a ton of galloping hrse so we were well prepared.

I currently don't have a JCB...! :D

Have you ever asked a man to do something and they turn round and say...  No, sorry, it's too tough for me!!!!!

We are definitely the lucky ones in these circumstances.  If in doubt, revert to stereotype I say.

This engine thing puzzles me.
Earlier on in the year I walked around a field looking at small steam driven stationary engines. Then across the other side to view some larger farm type machines, some steam some more modern.I was on my feet for over 2 hours. No pain just in a time flys enjoying life mood.Like a little boy in a sweet factory.
My OH says she can not get me to walk for 5 mins around a supermarket without me moaning and being in agony.Beats me.It must be something to do with the smell.
Some poor village is missing its Idiot
plus officially the longest ever occupier of the naughty step.
