On our allotment site I noticed that at the minute there are thousands of dandelions out, what part do I pick? All of it or just the flower head?
Thankyou.
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

This reminded me of mum making wheat n raisin wine. She put the wheat and raisins on the compost heap and the chickens got drunk!

Hello there. Last night I tried my dandelion wine.
 Hmmm, not sure.
I made one mixture in a bucket and it filled two and a half demijohns.

The half demi and clearest tasted nice, very drinkable, went down smoothly, wanted more, left a pleasant warm feeling.

The full darker colour demi was disgusting, smelled like parmesan or baby sick. Very strong not nice taste.
The other one, also a full demi but with most sediment was ok, very sweet, like a desert wine/liquer tasting but not thick.Went down well.

I have bottled one of each and syphoned the others into demis and was going to leave them for a few more months.
Any tips anyone.
