Gently have a look under the soil to see if they're big enough to eat yet. If not - just cover them back up for a week or 2.

I am growing them this year but haven't seen even flower buds forming. Not all pot varieties produce a flower so I dug a root up and have some pots - not many - but they are there.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

i have them in containers in the poly tunnel (so prob a couple of weeks further on) some of mine that i've harvested had flowered and some not all produced a fair crop. some of the ones left have not flowered and are starting to die back so i guess they're not going to.

not sure why this has happened but they're still giving a good quality potato.

I've merged your 2 threads together.

Did you check if they were ready to eat?

That might be why the leaves are going yellow.

PentLand javelin

I have been eating Javalin for 3 week and have reached the last of them. The tops turned yellow in the last week. Next week it will be the turn of the second earlies, Charlotte and Kestrel which are still growing but showing some stress in the dry and heat. It was 36 here yesterday, a bit cooler today.
